CHASE DREAMS… WRITE A BUCKET LIST

I started my bucket list v.1 in the midst of a disastrous childhood. Taking positives from negatives and laughing in the face of adversity is something I’ve needed to do since day one and 35 years on, it’s something which now comes naturally. I have always loved a list and in addition to the major life-goals, it was my way of ensuring the ‘nice to haves’ didn’t drift away into the land of forgotten dreams. By giving this list many hours of thought over the years and committing it to paper, I know I stand the best chance possible of holding myself accountable and accomplishing my goals… One list entry at a time.

For as long as I live, I expect this list to be a work in progress, but it will always give me something to strive for. The satisfaction of crossing another thing out is almost as satisfying as doing whatever it was in the first place.

If you haven’t already, I encourage you to try this for yourself. What do you really want from life? Not major-life goal setting but all the fun, exploration, exhilaration filled things you want to look back and say ‘I did that’. Give it some serious thought, pour yourself a glass of wine and commit all the things you want from your time on planet earth to paper. To get the most out of life, your list should constantly evolve…  as one is crossed off, five more get added. Here is my version as it stands today;
